You want to be prepared with items such as pens with black or dark blue ink for completing ALL Parts on the exam. Please also bring your government-issued or school-issued photo I.D. What Not to Bring to the Exam Room NO electronic equipment like cell phones, smart phones, tablets or anything else that can access the Internet, any cameras or other photographic equipment, or even any watches that beep or have an alarm. |

There were some questions that arose at the review regarding the Thematic Essay that I want to readdress.
There were some questions that arose at the review regarding the Thematic Essay that I want to readdress.
- The Theme will introduce the main topic you will be writing about. Use the Theme and Task to write you introductory paragraph. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO COPY THE THEME! Make sure you address the essay task and tell the reader what is going to be in your essay.
- Your body paragraphs should be descriptive and have details, facts, and analysis supporting the Theme & Task.
- Your conclusion paragraph should readdress what you stated in your intro. This is the cherry on top, the bow on the present --> wrap up what this essay was about.
- Refer to the Generic Grading Rubric within the packet for further details.
In the packet are Thematic Essay questions from previous Regents for you to practice, however there are many topics Mr. Regents can choose from. Here is the list of Potential Essay Topics:
